Norwich Wealth Management knows the importance of giving back to the community.  We constantly look for ways to support local organizations and events.  Our financial advisors sit on various boards that serve Norwich and Chenango County.  We pride ourselves on being involved with youth to make sure the future stays bright.

Fall 2024


On Thursday November 21, 2024 we celebrated Brandon Foulds graduation from the Leadership Chenango Program.  The nine month long program is aimed at enhancing the development and skills of individuals to become future community and civic leaders.  The Chenango Foundation under Commerce Chenango is responsible for aiding research and development that contributes to the communities in the  Chenango County area. The Foundation also provides continued oversight and development of Leadership Chenango.  Norwich Wealth Management is proud to have three graduates from this program now!  Brandon joins Greg LaMonica and Marci Lauren Riddell as alumni.





   


On October 24, 2024 Norwich Wealth Management hosted a client event at the Northeast Classic Car Museum.  The evening was spent with local chamber members and clients mingling and enjoying a presentation from Brad Smelstor from First Trust titled, “Turns in the Road, Navigating Through Transitions”.  Dominic also provided a recap of his hike and answered several questions from the audience.  The evening was well attended with over 100 people gathering. 



  

  

The team here would like to congratulate our colleague Dominic Shea, Managing Principal, Senior PIM Portfolio Manager  for completing the Appalachian Trail this month!  Dominic started his journey in Georgia in March earlier this year.  He has endured inclement weather, and physical setbacks, but his determination and dedication has seen him through it!  We couldn’t be more proud of him as colleagues and friends.  We can’t wait for him to clean up and get a suit on and get back to the office!  If you see him or talk to him, congratulate him on a job well done!  A lifelong achievement!


Summer 2024

 

On Tuesday March 26th Norwich Wealth Management was proud to be a sponsor for the first Annual Chenango County Women’s Leadership Conference which was hosted at the Canasawacta County Club in Norwich, New York. The event was attended by over 185 women from around the county. Marci Lauren Riddell, Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, Vice President, Partner, participated in the “Women in Wealth” Panel. The day was filled with women from various backgrounds sharing their knowledge and experiences. The event was such a success it will be hosted again next year taking place Tuesday March 25th, 2025.

On Friday, January 12, 2024, Financial Advisor and Partner Greg LaMonica spoke at Oxford High School for its annual Career Day. He was able to share what he does as a financial advisor and answer any questions the students had for him regarding his profession. Greg stated, “I have had the privilege of participating twice now in this event and I feel honored.  It’s a gift to spend time and to teach the kids about the financial industry and personal finance in general. Investing time in our younger community members is priceless.”


Spring 2023
